THE LOOK

2foyer

The Tech Center has a distinctively futuristic feel with textured metal doors, exposed steel mesh ceilings, and deconstructed wall design. This aesthetic puts users in an appropriately forward-looking frame of mind, while angular desktops and low-profile monitors provide an airiness and comfort not typically associated with space-age interiors. The environment at the Tech Center is practical, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing.

THE LABS

The Laney College Tech Center has three labs and over 100 computers. Labs B and C have 42 HP computers each, presentation podiums with master computer stations, large over-head projection screens, and audio projection systems. All three labs host college classes, conferences, and computer training sessions. Additionally, all three labs are open to students for individual computer use (see Open Lab).
